The past months have been difficult for everyone, but now we are finally getting back into action. We were invited to photograph the B.D.S. Area 24 show held at Baylam Stone House (by kind permission of Mrs Tessa Reeve) and what a glorious day it was. The event was under the direction of Event Secretary Mrs Wendy Winney, who proved to be not only an excellent organiser but also a superb poo picker. I did not envy B.D.S Judge Mrs Beth Foster and Concours d'Elegance Judge Joss Goodchild their job.
Whilst the turnout was not large, the quality was high and a credit to all who took part. The driving skills class was a novel addition, the ability to drive a carriage and not spill your drink was an advantage. There were rosettes for each entrant, and the B.D.S. gave Champion, Reserve and Young Driver Champion rosettes.
The weather was glorious and the whole event was enjoyable from start to finish. As well as the photographs already published on our site we will be posting a compilation video of the event quite soon.
Congratulations to all.
Stay safe, stay well and we will see you at the next event.
